Ithaca, NY – Unedited video of chopper landing in Titus Flats park area shot from Tops Friendly Markets about 11.45 p.m. Thursday night.

This from the Elmira Star Gazette. Ithaca Mayor Svante Myrick has reported that he is at the scene.

"An Ithaca Police officer has been reported shot near the West Village Apartment complex on Ithaca's West Hill.

The report came across emergency radio transmissions shortly after 11 p.m. Police are now at the scene.

A landing zone is now being set up for a medical helicopter at Titus Towers on Plain Street in Ithaca. Based on emergency radio reports, the injuries to the officer appear to be non-fatal and may have caused injury to the officer's shoulder.

Police barricades have been set up in the area of West Village Apartments to restrict traffic and pedestrians from the area."
