Since weather itself is an invisible thing, we can see only its tracks... and the tracks aren't always easy to interpret.   Like for instance,  this cloud,  which doesn't mean what you think it does, but  means what ever it wants to from moment to moment, or like the serial  Cummulo  Carboniferous clouds we spotted yesterday: Dim lights Embed Embed this video on your site

When crows fly crazy, the weather is going to change;  when the chickens cross the road, it already has.  And when ice bergs the size of Ithaca appear out on the middle of Cayuga Lake before Christmas .......then you've got another think coming.  See what we mean: Dim lights Embed Embed this video on your site

The Cold has snapped   and we  react.

Olive has it easy.  Lefty has it beat, and Davey  has it figured:

Eat for heat. Cook chili for chilly chickens.

For the recipe followed  in this episode,  you will need one package multi color rotini, plenty  of garlic minced, plenty onion too,    tomato sauce,  hot peppers, layer ration, New Hope Mills pancake mix, milk and eggs,  romaine lettiuce, mixed slaw, chicken or vegetable broth, suitable left-overs and toaster crumbs.  Salt to taste.
